Sweet Angel Allie

I have been following Allie's struggles for a couple of months now, each day shedding some tears for her and her family. Early this morning I went to refresh the site and was devastated to learn that Allie passed away last night, Sept. 13th at 11:05PM.

Allison Leigh Scott was born on December 17th 2003. I first came across her story on the babycenter December 2003 board - one of the sister boards to the one I was in with Diego. On May 4th, 2004 Allie was diagnosed with AML, Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a cancer of the blood and bone marrow.

Since her diagnosis her mom, Jenny, and her dad, Andrew, kept us updated on Allie's condition on a daily basis through their website. Each day I prayed for Allie and hoped for a good post. There were many good ones and many bad ones and each one shared by her mommy's selfless writings. I urge anyone that stumbles across my site to visit Allie's page and leave their thoughts or prayers for Allie's family. This little angel touched the lives of thousands of people.
