I had ANOTHER birthday

I cried most of my birthday. I think it was my worst birthday ever. I don't know if it is because I am getting older or because I expect a little more out of John.

Giulia remembered to wish me a happy b-day in the morning - that was the best part of my day. I ended up having to cook dinner myself, get a cake I didn't like because John didn't think about me before having to run back after Giulia's gymnastics class. To make it worse because he went to get the cake dinner was cold by the time he got home.

This year I wanted to get an Apple computer - it arrived in September and I am very happy with it but I expected to at least get a b-day card.... I didn't even get that.

By the end of the night I was very upset and could not get myself to sleep. So here I am. Looking at the big picture I am very blessed to have had my kids and cake and a computer - but I am so sad at the same time.
